Summer Student Web Resource Program (Summer 2010 Full-Time, Summer 2011 Part-Time)
For the summer of 2010 I worked as a part of the Summer Student Web Resource Program (SSWRP) for Queen's University IT Services. I carried out various tasks in this position. Primarily, as the title implies, the work was for web content of Queen's University. This broke down into two categories: websites using the content management software WebPublish, and course content on the learning management system Moodle. In my first year (2010) I spent the majority of my time on the first, developing websites for different departments of Queen's University. Specifically, I ended up with a lot of website accessibility work - somewhat by accident at first and then when they realized I was good at it I continued to get those jobs more frequently. In my second year, while also being a student full time, I worked part-time hours and the bulk of my projects were in Moodle.

Emerging Technology Centre (2010-Present)
For the Fall-Winter terms of the 2010 school years and currently again for the 2011-2012 school year, I have been staff for the Emerging Technology Centre one afternoon per week. My job is to provide assistance in use of the equipment to anybody who comes in: faculty, staff, and students. The equipment most frequently used are the computers with photo and video editing software (the Adobe Creative Suite), but there also other technologies available such as a VHS-to-DVD capture device, a monitor video-wall, and a slide scanner.
